SYNOPSIS

Critters Launches a Franchise

In Critters, massive furry balls from another world with sharp teeth, an insatiable appetite and a bad attitude land in the small mid-western town of Grovers Bend, Kansas, where they bite, tear and attack everything in their path. Terrified for their lives, the local families fight against the attacking bloodthirsty monsters. It’s a losing battle until two intergalactic bounty hunters arrive, determined to blow the creatures off the planet. Critters stars Dee Wallace-Stone (ET the Extra-Terrestrial, The Frighteners), Billy Zane (Titanic), Scott Grimes (HBO’s “Band of Brothers, Mystery, Alaska), M. Emmet Walsh (Snow Dogs) and is written and directed by Stephen Herek (Life or Something Like It, 101 Dalmatians), in his feature directing debut.

Back for Seconds in Critters 2: The Main Course

Written by David Twohy (writer/director, Pitch Black, Below), Critters 2: The Main Course brings those ornery Critters back for seconds. Two years have passed and Critter eggs have been hatching lethal litters. The bloodthirsty hairballs are eager to partake on their favorite pastime – eating. In no time, local residents are disappearing by the mouthful. The bounty hunters from space fly back to take care of the problem. But will they arrive before the town of Grovers Bend is erased from the map?

Leonardo DiCaprio Leads the Battle In Critters 3

In the third film in the franchise, the fanged, furious furballs viciously invade a Los Angeles apartment building and sink their teeth into the low-rent tenants. Josh (Leonardo DiCaprio) leads the battle to beat back the conniving critters and save the planet. The human race depends on him to destroy these terrifying alien hedgehogs once and for all.

The Critters Attempt to Take Over the Universe in Critters 4

In Critters 4 a super strain of genetically engineered mutants are designed to take over the universe. Joined by Fran (Academy Award® nominee Angela Bassett, What’s Love Got To Do With It) and Al Bert (Brad Dourif, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers), they battle for survival against the Critters, a nuclear meltdown and the fate of the universe.
