"DVD enregistré et réalisé à l’occasion du spectacle “Flamenco por el Mundo” créé par Luis de la Carrasca, avec des artistes de la communauté gitane, espagnole et andalouse. Avec force et sincérité, les musiciens délivrent ces sentiments de joie et de douleur à travers les chants et les poésies, et ainsi nous transportent dans le sud de l’Espagne, en chaude terre Andalouse, pays de l'âme du Flamenco.

LUIS DE LA CARRASCA
Né à Huéscar (province de Grenade) – Espagne. Grenadin, il grandit dans cette Andalousie rurale et profonde. Très jeune, il se passionne pour le flamenco. Autodidacte : il a hérité du don pour « el Cante » de ses ancêtres. Pendant longtemps, il a fréquenté le monde «Flamenco Grenadin» et côtoyé le danseur gitan Juan Ramirez. Avant d’arriver en France, il tourne en Andalousie, dans les Iles Baléares (1ère partie Ana Reverte), dans la région d’Alicante... Arrivé en Avignon en février 1991, il présente un premier spectacle au Festival Off. De là, tout s’enchaîne, il monte « FLAMENCO VIVO ». Puis, à chaque Festival d’Avignon (de 1991 à 2006), il crée et présente un nouveau spectacle. Par ailleurs, il compose les musiques de scène de pièces de théâtre ; il est à l’origine du Festival Andalou créé par l’Association Andalouse Alhambra, à Avignon en 2002. "
